DoughForge Flux Capacitor of Truthiness Hey Joe: checking
Natural-language query against the DoughForge Literary Corpus only (Substack posts, Golem XIV blog, Going Direct Paradigm material — domain locked). Email index and Home@ix commercial corpus are out of scope for this instrument. Optional: augment with non-establishment web search (DuckDuckGo + Archive.org + Wolfram Alpha). Results are routed to the four AQAL quadrants for bias analysis.
Advanced Options
Tune result count. Domain is locked to doughforge_literary — the bias-analysis instrument is corpus-restricted by design.
June 2026 rebuild will add a finer source metadata field for Substack-only filtering. Current scope: doughforge_literary as it stands.
What this is
The DoughForge Flux Capacitor of Truthiness is a bias-analysis instrument
scoped to the Going Direct Paradigm and
Golem XIV corpus.
It interrogates Hey Joe with the database locked to
doughforge_literary — the literary substrate only.
Email index and Home@ix commercial corpus are out of scope.
Scope: Going Direct Paradigm thoughts (TheBrain export · 1,129+ thoughts) and the Golem XIV blog corpus (Wayback-archived · 720 posts · 27,313 comments). Not in scope this build: Hyperland Substack, Grub Street Journal, Slog — those are separate future flux-capacitor instances.
Bias-analysis premise
Each query result is routed to the four Wilber AQAL quadrants by simple keyword heuristics: UL (interior individual · I/belief/intent), UR (exterior individual · It/behaviour/observable), LL (interior collective · We/culture/shared meaning), LR (exterior collective · Its/systems/institutions). The display surfaces which quadrants the answer leans toward — flagging when the corpus answer is unbalanced across the four domains.
Substrate-honest caveat: keyword heuristics are an approximation. Per-result Wilber rubric classification is a Track-C deepening. The current instrument is a first surfacing pass, not a final classifier.
Why "flux capacitor"?
The reference page at doughforge.org/flux-capacitor-of-strawberry-politics.html named the device. This is the live RAG implementation of that concept — Hey Joe is the engine, AQAL is the bias surface, the corpus is the substrate. The check-weighman's scales for the literary record.

How to use
Enter a natural-language query. Hey Joe embeds the query using qwen3 and returns the top-k most similar chunks from the doughforge_literary domain bucket of the 218,662-vector ChromaDB store. Results include similarity scores (0.0–1.0), file paths, and excerpt text. Below the results, the AQAL grid surfaces which quadrants the corpus answer leans toward.
Scores above 0.65 indicate strong semantic match. 0.5–0.65 is adjacent relevance (often useful, sometimes tangential). Below 0.5 is noise — the corpus doesn't directly contain the answer.
Example queries that work well
· "Going Direct paradigm BIS bank reset"
· "Golem XIV banking impunity Plan B"
· "Check-weighman Foster Lewis Cilely"
· "W-Anchor protocol Tarski reproducibility"
· "FAIR-Index 27-year credit decoupling"
· "Politicisation of Science Roger Lewis appearance"
· "Hyperland Substack David Malone"
· "Strawberry Manifesto abundance economics"
Hey Joe endpoint configuration
The flux capacitor queries Hey Joe via a public endpoint. During development phase, this endpoint is an ngrok tunnel pointing at the Swedish tower dev server.
Current endpoint: set on page load
Status: polled every 30 seconds, displayed in banner
CORS: bypassed via ngrok-skip-browser-warning header
To change the endpoint: edit the HEYJOE_ENDPOINT constant
at the top of the JavaScript block, commit, and push. No other configuration required.
AQAL keyword heuristics
Each result text is scanned for keyword sets per quadrant. Multiple-quadrant routing is permitted — a result can appear in more than one quadrant. Keyword sets:
UL (I) · belief · intent · feel · value · conscious · subjective · personal · mind · spirit · faith · meaning
UR (It) · behaviour · action · observable · body · brain · neuro · biological · measurable · individual
LL (We) · culture · shared · ethics · narrative · ideology · dissent · propaganda · we · collective · tradition · ritual
LR (Its) · system · institution · structure · economic · technology · network · governance · regulation · policy · market · state
